US NGL production down 2.8% in January: EIA data
HOUSTON, April 2, 2018 (PCW) – Natural gas liquids fell 3.462 million barrels, or 2.8%, in January to 118.564 million barrels (3.825 million b/d) compared to the prior month, according to EIA data released late Friday.
Ethane production was at 46.464 million barrels (1.499 million b/d), down 908,000 barrels from December. Propane supplies came in at 38.432 barrels (1.24 million b/d), down 1.252 million barrels from December.
Other NGLs’ production data is as follows:
. Butane: 9.457 million barrels (305,065 b/d), down 590,000 barrels from December;
. Isobutane: 11.166 million barrels (360,194 b/d), a decrease of 14,000 barrels;
. Natural gasoline: 13.045 million barrels (420,806 b/d), a 698,000 barrel decrease.
