NYMEX Tuesday Wrap: Crude, nat gas, gasoline make gains
HOUSTON, April 3, 2018 (PCW) — May NYMEX crude futures settled up $0.50/bbl at $63.51/bbl. June Brent at the close of the NYMEX increased $0.35/bbl at $68.10 bbl.
The June Brent/WTI spread narrowed at $4.64 bbl favoring Brent. Prompt natural gas futures were up 1.4 cents at $2.697 mmBtu. May NYMEX RBOB futures closed at $1.9741 gal, up 0.80 cpg.
April gasoline differentials were stronger versus Monday’s level.
A2 CBOB 87 regular was higher at 14.75 cpg under the screen.
CBOB 87 was up at 14.75 cpg under the screen.
D2 CBOB 93 premium was stronger at 5.50 cpg over the screen.
CBOB 93 was up at 5.50 over the screen.
RBOB rose to 4.75 cpg under the screen.
The 3-2-1 crack in the Gulf Coast was $12.72 bbl, $6.98/bbl under the screen. – John Troland
