US nonfuel use propylene supplies drop for third straight week
HOUSTON, April 4, 2018 (PCW) -- US nonfuel use propylene inventories fell 99,000 barrels (3.4%) last week to 2.833 million barrels, according to the latest EIA data. It was the third consecutive drop in propylene inventories, bringing them to a two-month low. Propylene stocks have fallen in six of the past 14 weeks and are 1.2% (34,000 barrels) below the 52-week average of 2.867 million barrels. Meanwhile, US Gulf refinery utilization climbed 1.2 percentage points last week to 94.3%.
