NYMEX Wednesday Wrap: Crude softens; nat gas, gasoline gain
HOUSTON, April 4, 2018 (PCW) — May NYMEX crude futures settled down $0.14/bbl at $63.37/bbl. June Brent at the close of the NYMEX decreased $0.12/bbl at $67.98 bbl.
The June Brent/WTI spread widened at $4.65 bbl favoring Brent. Prompt natural gas futures were up 2.1 cents at $2.718 mmBtu. May NYMEX RBOB futures closed at $1.9768 gal, up 0.27 cpg.
April gasoline differentials were mixed versus Tuesday’s level.
A2 CBOB 87 regular was weaker at 15.00 cpg under the screen.
CBOB 87 was up at 10.75 cpg under the screen.
D2 CBOB 93 premium was softer at 4.00 cpg over the screen.
CBOB 93 was up at 8.25 over the screen.
RBOB was lower at 5.00 cpg under the screen.
The 3-2-1 crack in the Gulf Coast was $12.58 bbl, $7.08/bbl under the screen. – John Troland
