NYMEX Thursday Wrap: Crude, gasoline increase; nat gas softens

HOUSTON, April 5, 2018 (PCW) — May NYMEX crude futures settled up $0.17/bbl at $63.54/bbl. June Brent at the close of the NYMEX increased $0.34/bbl at $68.32 bbl.

The June Brent/WTI spread widened at $4.78 bbl favoring Brent. Prompt natural gas futures were down 4.3 cents at $2.675 mmBtu. May NYMEX RBOB futures closed at $1.9816 gal, up 0.48 cpg.

April gasoline differentials were weaker versus Wednesday’s level.

The 3-2-1 crack in the Gulf Coast was $12.52 bbl, $7.10/bbl under the screen. – John Troland
