NYMEX Tuesday Wrap: Crude, gasoline extend gains; nat gas drops
HOUSTON, April 10, 2018 (PCW) — May NYMEX crude futures settled up $2.09/bbl at $65.51/bbl. June Brent at the close of the NYMEX increased $2.37/bbl at $71.01 bbl.
The June Brent/WTI spread widened at $5.57 bbl favoring Brent. Prompt natural gas futures were down 3.7 cents at $2.656 mmBtu. May NYMEX RBOB futures closed at $2.0409 gal, up 5.67 cpg.
April gasoline differentials were steady to stronger versus Monday’s level.
A2 CBOB 87 regular was stronger at 14.00 cpg under the screen.
CBOB 87 was up at 9.75 cpg under the screen.
D2 CBOB 93 premium was steady at 2.75 cpg over the screen.
CBOB 93 was unchanged at 7.25 over the screen.
RBOB was higher at 4.25 cpg under the screen.
The 3-2-1 crack in the Gulf Coast was $13.72 bbl, $6.82/bbl under the screen. – John Troland
