NYMEX Monday Wrap: Crude, gasoline open week with losses; nat gas gains
HOUSTON, April 16, 2018 (PCW) -- May NYMEX crude futures settled down $1.17/bbl at $62.22/bbl. June Brent at the close of the NYMEX decreased $1.21/bbl at $71.39/bbl.
The June Brent/WTI spread narrowed to $5.19/bbl favoring Brent. Prompt natural gas futures were up 1.7 cents at $2.752/mmBtu. May NYMEX RBOB futures closed at 203.99 cpg, down 2.55 cpg.
April gasoline differentials were lower versus Friday’s level.
A2 CBOB 87 regular was lower at 11.75 cpg under the screen.
CBOB 87 was down at 7.00 cpg under the screen.
D2 CBOB 93 premium was lower at 4.50 cpg over the screen.
CBOB 93 was lower at 9.75 over the screen.
RBOB was lower at 3.25 cpg under the screen.
The 3-2-1 crack in the Gulf Coast was $13.59/bbl, $6.29/bbl under the screen. -- John Troland
