US nonfuel use propylene stocks drop for fifth straight week
HOUSTON, April 18, 2018 (PCW) -- US nonfuel use propylene inventories fell by 180,000 barrels (6.4%) last week to 2.612 million barrels, according to newly released data from the EIA.
It was the fifth consecutive weekly decline, and the sixth drop in the past twelve weeks. Inventories are now almost 10% below the 52-week average of 2.877 million barrels. Meanwhile, US Gulf refinery utilization fell 1.7 percentage points to 92.4% last week.
