NYMEX Thursday Wrap: Crude posts mixed results; nat gas weakens
HOUSTON, April 19, 2018 (PCW) — May NYMEX crude futures settled down $0.18/bbl at $68.29/bbl. June Brent at the close of the NYMEX increased $0.34/bbl at $73.77 bbl.
The June Brent/WTI spread widened at $5.43 bbl favoring Brent. Prompt natural gas futures were down 7.9 cents at $2.660 mmBtu. May NYMEX RBOB futures closed at $2.0774 gal, up 0.91 cpg.
April gasoline differentials were mixed versus Wednesday’s levels.
A2 CBOB 87 regular was softer at 13.75 cpg under the screen.
CBOB 87 was down at 8.50 cpg under the screen.
D2 CBOB 93 premium was stronger at 5.25 cpg over the screen.
CBOB 93 was up at 10.50 over the screen.
RBOB was down at 4.00 cpg under the screen.
The 3-2-1 crack in the Gulf Coast was $12.62 bbl, $6.79/bbl under the screen. – John Troland
