NYMEX Tuesday Wrap: Oil drops nearly $1, nat gas climbs
HOUSTON, April 24, 2018 (PCW) -— June NYMEX crude futures settled down $0.94/bbl at $67.70/bbl. June Brent at the close of the NYMEX decreased $0.75/bbl at $73.95 bbl. The June Brent/WTI spread widened at $6.25 bbl favoring Brent.
Prompt natural gas futures were up 4.1 cents at $2.781 mmBtu. May NYMEX RBOB futures closed at $2.0948 gal, down 2.88 cpg.
April gasoline differentials were steady to higher versus Monday’s level.
A2 CBOB 87 regular was higher at 12.50 cpg under the screen.
CBOB 87 was up at 7.25 cpg under the screen.
D2 CBOB 93 premium was steady at 5.75 cpg over the screen.
CBOB 93 was steady at 11.00 over the screen.
RBOB was higher at 2.75 cpg under the screen.
The 3-2-1 crack in the Gulf Coast was $14.27 bbl, $6.52/bbl under the screen. – John Troland
