US NGL production down 5% in February: EIA data
HOUSTON, April 30, 2018 (PCW) – Natural gas liquids fell 5.913 million barrels, or nearly 5%, in February to 112.651 million barrels (4.023 million b/d) compared to the prior month, according to EIA data released Monday.
Ethane production was at 44.926 million barrels (1.605 million b/d), down 1.538 million barrels from January. Propane supplies came in at 36.306 barrels (1.3 million b/d), down 2.126 million barrels from January.
Other NGLs’ production data is as follows:
. Butane: 9.088 million barrels (324,571 b/d), down 369,000 barrels from January;
. Isobutane: 10.183 million barrels (363,679 b/d), a decrease of 1.083 million barrels;
. Natural gasoline: 12.248 million barrels (437,429 b/d), a 797,000 barrel decrease.
