NGL stocks fall 55.5% in February; ethane at lowest level since Jan 1998: EIA data
HOUSTON, April 30, 2018 (PCW) -– Natural gas liquids stocks fell 2.846 million barrels to 2.278 million barrels in February compared to January, according to EIA data released Monday.
Propane stocks fell 799,000 barrels in February to 892,000 barrels. Ethane inventories fell 1.475 million barrels barrels month-on-month to 232,000 barrels in February; stockpiles were last near these levels in January 1998, the data showed.
Other NGLs’ stockpile data is as follows:
· Butane: 474,000 barrels, down 358,000 barrels from January;
· Isobutane: down 225,000 barrels from January to 256,000 barrels;
· Natural gasoline: 424,000 barrels, up 11,000 barrels from January.
