NYMEX Tuesday Wrap: Crude, gasoline falter; nat gas rallies
HOUSTON, May 1, 2018 (PCW) — June NYMEX crude futures settled down $1.32/bbl at $67.25/bbl. July Brent at the close of the NYMEX decreased $1.55/bbl at $73.14 bbl.
The July Brent/WTI spread narrowed at $6.01 bbl favoring Brent. Prompt natural gas futures were up 3.9 cents at $2.802 mmBtu. June NYMEX RBOB futures closed at $2.0876 gal, down 4.32 cpg.
May gasoline differentials were stronger versus Monday’s levels.
A2 CBOB 87 regular was higher at 13.50 cpg under the screen.
CBOB 87 was up at 8.25 cpg under the screen.
D2 CBOB 93 premium was stronger at 4.00 cpg over the screen.
CBOB 93 rose to 11.00 over the screen.
RBOB was higher at 1.75 cpg under the screen.
The 3-2-1 crack in the Gulf Coast was $11.93 bbl, $8.67/bbl under the screen. – John Troland
