NYMEX Monday Wrap: Crude, gasoline, nat gas start week with gains
HOUSTON, May 7, 2018 (PCW) — June NYMEX crude futures settled up $1.01/bbl at $70.73/bbl. July Brent at the close of the NYMEX increased $1.37/bbl at $76.18 bbl.
The July Brent/WTI spread widened at $5.56 bbl favoring Brent. Prompt natural gas futures were up 3.0 cents at $2.741 mmBtu. June NYMEX RBOB futures closed at $2.1340 gal, up 2.00 cpg.
May gasoline differentials were steady to lower versus Friday’s levels.
A2 CBOB 87 regular was steady at 13.75 cpg under the screen.
CBOB 87 was firm at 8.50 cpg under the screen.
D2 CBOB 93 premium was unchanged at 2.00 cpg over the screen.
CBOB 93 was unchanged at 7.25 over the screen.
RBOB was weaker at 2.00 cpg under the screen.
The 3-2-1 crack in the Gulf Coast was $10.87 bbl, $8.74/bbl under the screen. – John Troland
