NYMEX Thursday Wrap: Crude, nat gas, gasoline close higher
HOUSTON, May 10, 2018 (PCW) — June NYMEX crude futures settled up $0.22/bbl at $71.36/bbl. July Brent at the close of the NYMEX increased $0.22/bbl at $77.42 bbl.
The July Brent/WTI spread narrowed at $6.11 bbl favoring Brent. Prompt natural gas futures were up 7.7 cents at $2.814 mmBtu. June NYMEX RBOB futures closed at $2.1890 gal, up 2.17 cpg.
May gasoline differentials were mixed versus Wednesday’s levels.
A2 CBOB 87 regular was softer at 14.25 cpg under the screen.
CBOB 87 was weaker at 8.75 cpg under the screen.
D2 CBOB 93 premium was steady at 0.75 cpg over the screen.
CBOB 93 was unchanged at 6.25 over the screen.
RBOB was stronger at 0.50 cpg under the screen.
The 3-2-1 crack in the Gulf Coast was $12.27 bbl, $8.78/bbl under the screen. – John Troland
