NYMEX Monday Wrap: Crude, gasoline, nat gas open week with gains
HOUSTON, May 14, 2018 (PCW) — June NYMEX crude futures settled up $0.26/bbl at $70.96/bbl. July Brent at the close of the NYMEX increased $1.06/bbl at $78.23 bbl.
The July Brent/WTI spread widened at $7.24 bbl favoring Brent. Prompt natural gas futures were up 3.6 cents at $2.842 mmBtu. June NYMEX RBOB futures closed at $2.2002 gal, up 1.14 cpg.
May gasoline differentials were stronger versus Friday’s level.
A2 CBOB 87 regular was higher at 13.75 cpg under the screen.
CBOB 87 was up at 8.25 cpg under the screen.
D2 CBOB 93 premium was stronger at 1.25 cpg over the screen.
CBOB 93 was up at 6.75 over the screen.
RBOB rose to 0.50 cpg over the screen.
The 3-2-1 crack in the Gulf Coast was $12.73 bbl, $9.41/bbl under the screen. – John Troland
