NYMEX Tuesday Wrap: Oil slips, nat gas rises almost 10 cents
HOUSTON, May 22, 2018 (PCW) — June NYMEX crude futures settled down $0.11 at $72.13/bbl. July Brent at the close of the NYMEX increased $0.45/bbl at $79.64 bbl. The July Brent/WTI spread widened at $7.44 bbl favoring Brent.
Prompt natural gas futures were up 9.8 cents at $2.908 mmBtu. June NYMEX RBOB futures closed at $2.2702 gal, up 1.37 cpg.
May gasoline differentials were mixed versus Monday’s level.
A2 CBOB 87 regular was lower at 15.50 cpg under the screen.
CBOB 87 was higher at 9.00 cpg under the screen.
D2 CBOB 93 premium was lower at 2.50 cpg over the screen.
CBOB 93 was down at 10.00 over the screen.
RBOB was higher at 1.75 cpg over the screen.
The 3-2-1 crack in the Gulf Coast was $12.75 bbl, $10.61 /bbl under the screen. – John Troland
