NYMEX Tuesday Wrap: Crude, nat gas, gasoline open week with losses
HOUSTON, May 29, 2018 (PCW) — July NYMEX crude futures settled down $1.15 at $66.73/bbl. July Brent at the close of the NYMEX decreased $1.13/bbl at $75.31 bbl.
The July Brent/WTI spread narrowed at $8.58 bbl favoring Brent. Prompt natural gas futures were down 6.4 cents at $2.875 mmBtu. June NYMEX RBOB futures closed at $2.1441 gal, down 3.73 cpg.
May gasoline differentials were weaker from Friday’s levels.
A2 CBOB 87 regular was softer at 15.75 cpg under the screen.
CBOB 87 was down at 9.25 cpg under the screen.
D2 CBOB 93 premium was weaker at 2.50 cpg over the screen.
CBOB 93 fell to 10.00 over the screen.
RBOB was lower at 2.00 cpg over the screen.
The 3-2-1 crack in the Gulf Coast was $13.16 bbl, $10.78 /bbl under the screen. – John Troland
