NYMEX Wednesday Wrap: Crude, gasoline rally; nat gas softens again
HOUSTON, May 30, 2018 (PCW) — July NYMEX crude futures settled up $1.48 at $68.21/bbl. July Brent at the close of the NYMEX increased $2.22/bbl at $77.53 bbl.
The July Brent/WTI spread widened at $9.45 bbl favoring Brent. Prompt natural gas futures were down 1.8 cents at $2.885 mmBtu. June NYMEX RBOB futures closed at $2.1842 gal, up 4.01 cpg.
May gasoline differentials were weaker from Tuesday’s level.
A2 CBOB 87 regular was softer at 16.25 cpg under the screen.
CBOB 87 was down at 10.00 cpg under the screen.
D2 CBOB 93 premium fell to 2.00 cpg over the screen.
CBOB 93 was down at 8.50 over the screen.
RBOB was weaker at 0.00 cpg over the screen.
The 3-2-1 crack in the Gulf Coast was $13.40 bbl, $10.81 /bbl under the screen. – John Troland
