NYMEX Tuesday Wrap: Oil gains, nat gas, gasoline drop
HOUSTON, June 5, 2018 (PCW) — July NYMEX crude futures settled up $0.77 at $65.52/bbl. August Brent at the close of the NYMEX increased $0.02/bbl at $75.41 bbl. The August Brent/WTI spread narrowed at $9.97 bbl favoring Brent.
Prompt natural gas futures were down 4.0 cents at $2.890 mmBtu.
July NYMEX RBOB futures closed at $2.1062 gal, down 1.62 cpg. June gasoline differentials were higher from Monday’s level.
A2 CBOB 87 regular was higher at 14.25 cpg under the screen.
CBOB 87 was higher at 7.75 cpg under the screen.
D2 CBOB 93 premium was higher at 2.75 cpg over the screen.
CBOB 93 was up at 9.25 over the screen.
RBOB was higher at 1.00 cpg under the screen.
The 3-2-1 crack in the Gulf Coast was $12.54 bbl, $10.90 /bbl under the screen. – John Troland
