NYMEX Wednesday Wrap: Crude, gasoline falter; nat gas gains
HOUSTON, June 6, 2018 (PCW) — July NYMEX crude futures settled down $0.79 at $64.73/bbl. August Brent at the close of the NYMEX decreased $0.19/bbl at $75.24 bbl. The August Brent/WTI spread narrowed at $10.54 bbl favoring Brent. Prompt natural gas futures were up 0.6 cents at $2.896 mmBtu. July NYMEX RBOB futures closed at $2.0700 gal, down 3.62 cpg.
June gasoline differentials were mixed from Tuesday’s levels.
A2 CBOB 87 regular was weaker at 14.75 cpg under the screen.
CBOB 87 was softer at 8.25 cpg under the screen.
D2 CBOB 93 premium was stronger at 3.25 cpg over the screen.
CBOB 93 was up at 9.75 over the screen.
RBOB was down at 0.75 cpg under the screen.
The 3-2-1 crack in the Gulf Coast was $12.07 bbl, $10.93 /bbl under the screen. – John Troland
