NYMEX Friday Wrap: Oil soars $3 as nat gas declines
HOUSTON, June 22, 2018 (PCW) — August NYMEX crude futures settled up $3.04 at $68.58/bbl. August Brent at the close of the NYMEX increased $2.06/bbl at $75.11 bbl. The August Brent/WTI spread narrowed at $6.53 bbl favoring Brent.
Prompt natural gas futures were down 3.0 cents at $2.945 mmBtu. July NYMEX RBOB futures closed at $2.0705 gal, up 5.82 cpg.
June gasoline differentials were mostly lower from Thursday’s level.
A2 CBOB 87 regular was lower at 15.25 cpg under the screen.
CBOB 87 was lower at 9.00 cpg under the screen.
D2 CBOB 93 premium was steady at 2.50 cpg over the screen.
CBOB 93 was down at 9.75 over the screen.
RBOB was lower at 2.25 cpg under the screen.
The 3-2-1 crack in the Gulf Coast was $7.60 bbl, $11.18 /bbl under the screen. – John Troland
