NYMEX Tuesday Wrap: Oil jumps more than $2, gas also rises
HOUSTON, June 26, 2018 (PCW) — August NYMEX crude futures settled up $2.45 at $70.53/bbl. August Brent at the close of the NYMEX increased $1.69/bbl at $76.34 bbl. The August Brent/WTI spread narrowed to $5.81 bbl favoring Brent.
Prompt natural gas futures were up 1.6 cents at $2.939 mmBtu. July NYMEX RBOB futures closed at $2.0746 gal, up 2.31 cpg.
June gasoline differentials were mixed from Monday’s level.
A2 CBOB 87 regular was lower at 15.50 cpg under the screen.
CBOB 87 was lower at 9.75 cpg under the screen.
D2 CBOB 93 premium was lower at 0.50 cpg under the screen.
CBOB 93 was higher at 9.75 over the screen.
RBOB was steady at 3.00 cpg under the screen.
The 3-2-1 crack in the Gulf Coast was $9.31 bbl, $7.62 /bbl under the screen. – John Troland
