NYMEX Friday Wrap: Oil closes week topping $74, gas drops
HOUSTON, June 29, 2018 (PCW) — August NYMEX crude futures settled up $0.70 at $74.15/bbl. August Brent at the close of the NYMEX increased $1.74/bbl at $79.35 bbl. The August Brent/WTI spread widened to $5.20 bbl favoring Brent.
Prompt natural gas futures were down 1.6 cents at $2.924 mmBtu. July NYMEX RBOB futures closed at $2.1791 gal, up 4.62 cpg.
June gasoline differentials were lower versus Thursday’s level.
A2 CBOB 87 regular was lower at 16.75 cpg under the screen.
CBOB 87 was down at 11.00 cpg under the screen.
D2 CBOB 93 premium was lower at 1.50 cpg under the screen.
CBOB 93 was down at 7.50 over the screen.
RBOB was lower at 5.50 cpg under the screen.
The 3-2-1 crack in the Gulf Coast was $11.05 bbl, $6.40 /bbl under the screen. – John Troland
