NYMEX Tuesday Wrap: Crude, gasoline extend gains; nat gas drops
HOUSTON, July 10, 2018 (PCW) — August NYMEX crude futures settled up $0.26 at $74.11/bbl. September Brent at the close of the NYMEX increased $0.67/bbl at $78.76 bbl.
The September Brent/WTI spread widened to $6.20 bbl favoring Brent. Prompt natural gas futures were down 4.0 cents at $2788 mmBtu. August NYMEX RBOB futures closed at $2.1603 gal, up 1.18 cpg.
August gasoline differentials were mostly stronger versus Monday’s level.
A2 CBOB 87 regular was higher at 10.25 cpg under the screen.
CBOB 87 was up at 4.50 cpg under the screen.
D2 CBOB 93 premium was steady at 5.00 cpg over the screen.
CBOB 93 rose to at 12.50 over the screen.
RBOB was stronger at 0.75 cpg under the screen.
The 3-2-1 crack in the Gulf Coast was $12.91 bbl, $4.57 /bbl under the screen. – John Troland
