US nonfuel use propylene inventories post third straight increase

HOUSTON, July 25, 2018 (PCW) -- US nonfuel use propylene inventories rose for the third consecutive week, gaining 184,000 barrels to 2.716 million barrels, the EIA said today. Inventories for the week ending July 20 were the highest in six weeks and are approaching the 52-week average of 2.831 million barrels. Propylene inventories have risen in five of the past twelve weeks. Meanwhile, US Gulf refinery utilization fell 1.6 percentage points to 92.6%.
