NYMEX Wednesday Wrap: Oil tops $69, nat gas gains
HOUSTON, July 25, 2018 (PCW) — August NYMEX crude futures settled up $0.78 at $69.30/bbl. September Brent at the close of the NYMEX increased $0.55/bbl at $74.01 bbl. The September Brent/WTI spread narrowed to $4.71 bbl favoring Brent.
Prompt natural gas futures were up 4.3 cents at $2.775 mmBtu. August NYMEX RBOB futures closed at $2.1231 gal, up 2.75 cpg.
August gasoline differentials were mostly lower versus Tuesday’s level.
A2 CBOB 87 regular was steady at 11.50 cpg under the screen.
CBOB 87 was down at 6.75 cpg under the screen.
D2 CBOB 93 premium was lower at 1.50 cpg over the screen.
CBOB 93 was down at 11.25 over the screen.
RBOB was lower at 3.25 cpg under the screen.
The 3-2-1 crack in the Gulf Coast was $13.13 bbl, $5.13 /bbl under the screen. – John Troland
