NYMEX Monday Wrap: Oil rises back above $70, RBOB drops
HOUSTON, July 30, 2018 (PCW) — September NYMEX crude futures settled up $1.44 at $70.13/bbl. September Brent at the close of the NYMEX increased $0.68/bbl at $74.99 bbl. The September Brent/WTI spread narrowed to $4.86 bbl favoring Brent.
Prompt natural gas futures were up 1.5 cents at $2.797 mmBtu. August NYMEX RBOB futures closed at $2.1603 gal, down 0.16 cpg.
August gasoline differentials were mixedr versus Friday’s level.
A2 CBOB 87 regular was higher at 11.25 cpg under the screen.
CBOB 87 was up at 6.00 cpg under the screen.
D2 CBOB 93 premium was higher at 2.25 cpg over the screen.
CBOB 93 was down at 10.50 over the screen.
RBOB was steady at 5.00 cpg under the screen.
The 3-2-1 crack spread in the Gulf Coast was $13.73 bbl, $5.02 /bbl under the screen. – John Troland
