US nonfuel use propylene supplies climb for fourth straight week

HOUSTON, August 1, 2018 (PCW) -- US nonfuel use propylene inventories last week were up 46,000 barrels to 2.762 million barrels, the EIA said today. It was the fourth consecutive weekly inventory build. Inventories have increased in five of the past twelve weeks and are 2.4% (68,000 barrels) below the 52-week average of 2.830 million barrels. Meanwhile, US Gulf refinery utilization climbed 2 percentage points to 94.6%. -- David Barry
