NYMEX Monday Wrap: Crude and gasoline rise, nat gas edges lower
HOUSTON, August 20, 2018 (PCW) -- September NYMEX crude futures settled up $0.52 at $66.43/bbl. October Brent at the close of the NYMEX increased $0.53/bbl to $72.45/bbl. The October Brent/WTI spread widened to $7.03/bbl favoring Brent.
Prompt natural gas futures were down 0.5 cents at $2.941/mmBtu. September NYMEX RBOB futures closed at $2.0151/gal, up 3.42 cpg.
September gasoline differentials were higher versus Friday’s level.
A2 CBOB 87 regular was higher at 8.00 cpg under the screen.
CBOB 87 was up at 2.75 cpg under the screen.
D2 CBOB 93 premium was higher at 5.75 cpg over the screen.
CBOB 93 was up at 11.00 over the screen.
RBOB was higher at 0.25 cpg under the screen.
The 3-2-1 crack spread in the Gulf Coast was $14.02/bbl, $5.57/bbl under the screen. -- John Troland
