NYMEX Thursday Wrap: Crude, gasoline falter; nat gas rallies

HOUSTON, August 23, 2018 (PCW) -- October NYMEX crude futures settled down $0.03 at $67.83/bbl. October Brent at the close of the NYMEX decreased $0.02/bbl to $74.73/bbl. The October Brent/WTI spread widened to $6.90/bbl favoring Brent.

Prompt natural gas futures were up 0.8 cents at $2.964/mmBtu. September NYMEX RBOB futures closed at $2.0592/gal, down 0.88 cpg.

Gasoline differentials were mostly weaker versus Wednesday’s levels.

The 3-2-1 crack spread in the Gulf Coast was $13.03/bbl, $6.10/bbl under the screen. -- John Troland
