NYMEX Monday Wrap: Crude, gasoline open week with gains; nat gas slips
HOUSTON, August 27, 2018 (PCW) — October NYMEX crude futures settled up $0.15 at $68.87/bbl. October Brent at the close of the NYMEX increased $0.33/bbl at $76.19/bbl.
The October Brent/WTI spread widened to $7.32/bbl favoring Brent. Prompt natural gas futures were down 4.1 cents at $2.876/mmBtu. September NYMEX RBOB futures closed at $2.0896/gal, up 1.17 cpg.
September gasoline differentials were weaker versus Friday’s levels.
A2 CBOB 87 regular was softer at 10.00 cpg under the screen.
CBOB 87 was down at 4.50 cpg under the screen.
D2 CBOB 93 premium was weaker at 0.75 cpg over the screen.
CBOB 93 fell to 9.25 over the screen.
RBOB was lower at 12.00 cpg under the screen.
The 3-2-1 crack spread in the Gulf Coast was $13.51 bbl, $6.14 /bbl under the screen. – John Troland
