NYMEX Tuesday Wrap: Oil, nat gas, RBOB decline
HOUSTON, August 28, 2018 (PCW) — October NYMEX crude futures settled down $0.34 at $68.53/bbl. October Brent at the close of the NYMEX decreased $0.18/bbl at $76.01 bbl. the October Brent/WTI spread widened to $7.48 bbl favoring Brent.
Prompt natural gas futures were down 2.4 cents at $2.852 mmBtu. September NyMEX RBOB futures closed at $2.0787 gal, down 1.09 cpg.
September gasoline differentials were mostly lower versus Monday’s level.
A2 CBOB 87 regular was lower at 10.75 cpg under the screen.
CBOB 87 was down at 5.25 cpg under the screen.
D2 CBOB 93 premium was lower at 0.50 cpg over the screen.
CBOB 93 was down at 5.75 over the screen.
RBOB was higher at 11.50 cpg under the screen.
The 3-2-1 crack spread in the Gulf Coast was $13.31 bbl, $6.32 /bbl under the screen. – John Troland
