June NGL production sets record, up 0.1% from May: EIA data
HOUSTON, August 31, 2018 (PCW) – Natural gas liquids rose 5,000 b/d, or 0.1%, in June to 4.326 million b/d, compared to the prior month, according to EIA data released Friday. This marks a new record, per the EIA data, besting the previous record of 4.321 million b/d in May. Propane, isobutane and natural gasoline set new records marks during the month as well.
Ethane production was at 1.671 million b/d, down 33,000 b/d from May. Propane supplies came in at 1.382 million b/d, up 10,000 b/d from May. The prior all-time high was seen in May at 1.372 million b/d.
Other NGLs’ production data is as follows:
Butane: 339,000 b/d, down 2,000 b/d from May;
Isobutane: 410,000 b/d, an increase of 12,000 b/d;
Natural gasoline: 523,000 b/d, a 17,000 b/d increase.
