NYMEX Tuesday Wrap: Oil little changed near $70, gas drops
HOUSTON, September 4, 2018 (PCW) — October NYMEX crude futures settled up $0.07 at $69.87/bbl. November Brent at the close of the NYMEX increased $0.40/bbl at $78.22/bbl.
The November Brent/WTI spread widened to $8.35/bbl favoring Brent. Prompt natural gas futures were down 9.3 cents at $2.823/mmBtu. Octoberber NYMEX RBOB futures closed at $1.9942/gal, down 0.0028 cpg.
October gasoline differentials were stronger versus Friday’s levels.
A2 CBOB 87 regular was higher at 1.75 cpg under the screen.
BOB 87 was up at 1.75 cpg under the screen.
2 CBOB 93 premium was stronger at 11.00 cpg over the screen.
BOB 93 was up at 11.00 over the screen.
BOB rose to 2.50 cpg under the screen.
he 3-2-1 crack spread in the Gulf Coast was $12.79 bbl, $4.74/bbl under the screen. – John Troland
