NYMEX Thursday Wrap: Crude, gasoline, nat gas deepen losses
HOUSTON, September 6, 2018 (PCW) — October NYMEX crude futures settled down $0.95 at $67.77/bbl. November Brent at the close of the NYMEX decreased $0.75/bbl at $76.52/bbl.
The November Brent/WTI spread widened to $9.00/bbl favoring Brent. Prompt natural gas futures were down 2.3 cents at $2.772/mmBtu. October NYMEX RBOB futures closed at $1.9510/gal, down 1.38 cpg.
October gasoline differentials were mixed versus Wednesday’s levels.
A3 CBOB 87 regular was steady at 4.50 cpg under the screen.
BOB 87 was stronger at 4.75 cpg under the screen.
3 CBOB 93 premium was unchanged at 9.00 cpg over the screen.
BOB 93 was up at 8.75 over the screen.
BOB was weaker at 5.25 cpg under the screen.
he 3-2-1 crack spread in the Gulf Coast was $12.23 bbl, $5.57/bbl under the screen. – John Troland
