NYMEX Friday Wrap: Crude steady; nat gas, gasoline close week with gains
HOUSTON, September 7, 2018 (PCW) — October NYMEX crude futures settled down $0.02 at $67.75/bbl. November Brent at the close of the NYMEX increased $0.30/bbl at $76.82.bbl.
The November Brent/WTI spread widened to $9.27/bbl favoring Brent. Prompt natural gas futures were up 0.4 cents at $2.776/mmBtu. October NYMEX RBOB futures closed at $1.97/gal, up 1.90 cpg.
October gasoline differentials were steady to higher versus Thursday’s levels.
A3 CBOB 87 regular was steady at 4.50 cpg under the screen.
CBOB 87 was up at 4.50 cpg under the screen.
D3 CBOB 93 premium was unchanged at 9.00 cpg over the screen.
CBOB 93 was stronger at 9.00 over the screen.
RBOB rose to 5.00 cpg under the screen.
The 3-2-1 crack spread in the Gulf Coast was $12.90 bbl, $5.56/bbl under the screen. – John Troland
