NYMEX Monday Wrap: Crude, nat gas falter; gasoline gains
HOUSTON, September 17, 2018 (PCW) — October NYMEX crude futures settled down $0.08 at $68.91/bbl. November Brent at the close of the NYMEX was unchanged at at $78.09/bbl.
The November Brent/WTI spread widened to $9.41/bbl favoring Brent. Prompt natural gas futures were up 4.7 cents at $2.814/mmBtu. October NYMEX RBOB futures closed at $1.9768/gal, up 0.66 cpg.
October gasoline differentials were mostly weaker versus Friday’s level.
A3 CBOB 87 regular was softer at 3.75 cpg under the screen.
CBOB 87 was down at 3.75 cpg under the screen.
D3 CBOB 93 premium was weaker at 11.25 cpg over the screen.
CBOB 93 fell to 11.25 over the screen.
RBOB was steady at 4.25 cpg under the screen.
The 3-2-1 crack spread in the Gulf Coast was $10.97 bbl, $6.36 /bbl under the screen. – John Troland
