NYMEX Tuesday Wrap: Oil rises near $70, gas jumps 12 cents
HOUSTON, September 18, 2018 (PCW) — October NYMEX crude futures settled up $0.94 at $69.85/bbl. NovHember Brent at the close of the NYMEX was up at $79.07 bbl. the November Brent/WTI spread widened to $9.48 bbl favoring Brent.
Prompt natural gas futures were up 11.9 cents at $2.933 mmBtu. October NYMEX RBOB futures closed at $2.0049 gal, up 2.81 cpg.
October gasoline differentials were steady to higher versus Monday’s level.
A3 CBOB 87 regular was higher at 3.25 cpg under the screen.
CBOB 87 was up at 3.25 cpg under the screen.
D3 CBOB 93 premium was steady at 11.25 cpg over the screen.
CBOB 93 was unchanged at 11.25 over the screen.
RBOB was higher at 3.75 cpg under the screen.
The 3-2-1 crack spread in the Gulf Coast was $11.37 bbl, $6.22 /bbl under the screen. – John Troland
