NYMEX Wednesday Wrap: Crude, gasoline settle higher; nat gas sinks
HOUSTON, September 19, 2018 (PCW) — October NYMEX crude futures settled up $1.27 at $71.12/bbl. November Brent at the close of the NYMEX was up $0.35 at $79.42/bbl.
The November Brent/WTI spread narrowed to $8.65/bbl favoring Brent. Prompt natural gas futures were down 2.5 cents at $2.908/mmBtu. October NYMEX RBOB futures closed at $2.0207/gal, up 1.58 cpg.
October gasoline differentials were weaker versus Tuesday’s level.
A3 CBOB 87 regular was softer at 3.50 cpg under the screen.
CBOB 87 was down at 3.50 cpg under the screen.
D3 CBOB 93 premium was weaker at 11.00 cpg over the screen.
CBOB 93 was down at 11.00 over the screen.
RBOB fell to 4.25 cpg under the screen.
The 3-2-1 crack spread in the Gulf Coast was $10.67/bbl, $6.24/bbl under the screen. – John Troland
