July NGL production sets record, up 2% from June: EIA data
HOUSTON, September 28, 2018 (PCW) – Natural gas liquids rose 85,000 b/d, or 2%, in July to 4.411 million b/d, compared to the prior month, according to EIA data released Friday. This marks a new record, per the EIA data, besting the previous record of 4.326 million b/d in June. Propane, normal butane and natural gasoline set new high-water marks during the month as well.
Ethane production was at 1.708 million b/d, up 37,000 b/d from June. Propane supplies came in at 1.401 million b/d, up 19,000 b/d from June. The prior all-time high was seen in June at 1.382 million b/d.
Other NGLs’ production data is as follows:
Butane: 356,000 b/d, up 17,000 b/d from June;
Isobutane: 404,000 b/d, a decrease of 6,000 b/d;
Natural gasoline: 542,000 b/d, a 19,000 b/d increase.
