NYMEX Monday Wrap: Crude, gasoline, nat gas open week with gains
HOUSTON, October 1, 2018 (PCW) — November NYMEX crude futures settled up $2.05 at $75.30/bbl. December Brent at the close of the NYMEX increased $2.09 at $84.82/bbl.
The December Brent/WTI spread narrowed to $9.68/bbl favoring Brent. Prompt natural gas futures were up 8.6 cents at $3.094/mmBtu. November NYMEX RBOB futures closed at $2.1275/gal, up 4.18 cpg.
November gasoline differentials were stronger versus Friday’s level.
A3 CBOB 87 regular was higher at 1.125 cpg under the screen.
CBOB 87 was up at 1.125 cpg under the screen.
D3 CBOB 93 premium was stronger at 14.125 cpg over the screen.
CBOB 93 was up at 14.125 over the screen.
RBOB rose to 1.375 cpg under the screen.
The 3-2-1 crack spread in the Gulf Coast was $13.67 bbl, $4.31/bbl under the screen. – John Troland
