NYMEX Tuesday Wrap: Oil steady above $75, nat gas climbs
HOUSTON, October 2, 2018 (PCW) — November NYMEX crude futures settled down $0.07 at $75.23/bbl. December Brent at the close of the NYMEX increased $0.01 at $84.83 bbl. The December Brent/WTI spread widened to $9.79 bbl favoring Brent.
Prompt natural gas futures were up 7.2 cents at $3.166 mmBtu. November NYMEX RBOB futures closed at $2.1269 gal, down 0.06 cpg.
November gasoline differentials were higher versus Monday’s level.
A3 CBOB 87 regular was higher at 1.375 cpg under the screen.
CBOB 87 was up at 1.135 cpg under the screen.
D3 CBOB 93 premium was higher at 14.50 cpg over the screen.
CBOB 93 was up at 14.50 over the screen.
RBOB was higher at 1.00 cpg under the screen.
The 3-2-1 crack spread in the Gulf Coast was $13.70 bbl, $4.33 /bbl under the screen. – John Troland
