NYMEX Monday Wrap: Oil little changed above $74, gas jumps
HOUSTON, October 8, 2018 (PCW) — November NYMEX crude futures settled down $0.05 at $74.29/bbl. December Brent at the close of the NYMEX decreased $0.21 at $83.92 bbl. The December Brent/WTI spread weakened to $9.75 bbl favoring Brent.
Prompt natural gas futures were up 12.4 cents at $3.267 mmBtu. November NYMEX RBOB futures closed at $2.0937 gal, up 0.76 cpg.
November gasoline differentials were higher versus Friday’s level.
A3 CBOB 87 regular was higher at 0.0075 cpg under the screen.
CBOB 87 was up at 00075 cpg under the screen.
D3 CBOB 93 premium was higher at 15.75 cpg over the screen.
CBOB 93 was up at 15.75 over the screen.
RBOB was steady at 0.75 cpg under the screen.
The 3-2-1 crack spread in the Gulf Coast was $13.71 bbl, $4.14 /bbl under the screen. – John Troland
