NYMEX Wednesday Wrap: Oil drops $1.79, nat gas rises
HOUSTON, October 10, 2018 (PCW) — November NYMEX crude futures settled down $1.79 at $73.17/bbl. December Brent at the close of the NYMEX decreased $1.88 at $83.11 bbl. The December Brent/WTI spread narrowed to $10.08 bbl favoring Brent.
Prompt natural gas futures were up 1.8 cents at $3.284 mmBtu. November NYMEX RBOB futures closed at $2.0204 gal, down 5.70 cpg.
November gasoline differentials were lower versus Tuesday’s level.
A3 CBOB 87 regular was lower at 3.00 cpg under the screen.
CBOB 87 was down at 3.00 cpg under the screen.
D3 CBOB 93 premium was lower at 13.75 cpg over the screen.
CBOB 93 was down at 13.75 over the screen.
RBOB was lower at 2.25 cpg under the screen.
The 3-2-1 crack spread in the Gulf Coast was $12.16 bbl, $4.77 /bbl under the screen. – John Troland
