NYMEX Friday Wrap: Oil, gasoline bounce back, but natural gas falls
HOUSTON, October 12, 2018 (PCW) -- November NYMEX crude futures settled up $0.37 at $71.34/bbl. December Brent at the close of the NYMEX increased $0.14 to $80.42/bbl.
The December Brent/WTI spread narrowed to $9.24/bbl favoring Brent. Prompt natural gas futures were down 6.1 cents at $3.161/mmBtu. November NYMEX RBOB futures closed at $1.9420/gal, up 0.93 cpg.
November gasoline differentials were steady to lower versus Thursday’s level.
A3 CBOB 87 regular was steady at 3.75 cpg under the screen.
CBOB 87 was unchanged at 3.75 cpg under the screen.
D3 CBOB 93 premium was lower at 12.75 cpg over the screen.
CBOB 93 was down at 12.75 over the screen.
RBOB was lower at 4.25 cpg under the screen.
The 3-2-1 crack spread in the Gulf Coast was $10.55 bbl, $4.98 /bbl under the screen. -- John Troland
