NYMEX Tuesday Wrap: Crude oil and gasoline rise, nat gas drops slightly
HOUSTON, October 16, 2018 (PCW) -- November NYMEX crude futures settled up $0.14 at $71.92/bbl. December Brent at the close of the NYMEX was up $0.73 at $81.49/bbl. The December Brent/WTI spread widened to $9.73 bbl/favoring Brent.
Prompt natural gas futures were down 0.3 cent at $3.239/mmBtu. November NYMEX RBOB futures closed at $1.9773/gal, up 3.30 cpg.
November gasoline differentials were steady to lower versus Monday’s levels:
A3 CBOB 87 regular was steady at 3.50 cpg under the screen.
CBOB 87 was unchanged at 3.50 cpg under the screen.
D3 CBOB 93 premium was lower at 12.90 cpg over the screen.
CBOB 93 was down at 12.90 cpg over the screen.
RBOB was steady at 3.50 cpg under the screen.
The 3-2-1 crack spread in the Gulf Coast was $11.24/bbl, $4.97/bbl under the screen. -- John Troland
