NYMEX Tuesday Wrap: Oil takes steep drop, gas climbs
HOUSTON, October 23, 2018 (PCW) — December NYMEX crude futures settled down $2.74 at $66.43/bbl. December Brent at the close of the NYMEX decreased $3.33 at $76.43 bbl. the December Brent/WTI spread narrowed to $10.00 bbl favoring Brent.
Prompt natural gas futures were up 7.4 cents at $3.212 mmBtu. November NYMEX RBOB futures closed at $1.8368 gal, down 6.99 cpg.
November gasoline differentials were steady to lower versus Friday’s level.
A 4 CBOB 87 regular was lower at 6.00 cpg under the screen.
CBOB 87 was down at 6.00 cpg under the screen.
D4 CBOB 93 premium was steady at 10.00 cpg over the screen.
CBOB 93 was steady at 10.00 over the screen.
RBOB was steady at 4.75 cpg under the screen.
The 3-2-1 crack spread in the Gulf Coast was $10.89 bbl, $5.74 /bbl under the screen. – John Troland
