NYMEX Wednesday Wrap: Oil rises, nat gas, RBOB decline
HOUSTON, October 24, 2018 (PCW) — December NYMEX crude futures settled up $0.39 at $66.82/bbl. December Brent at the close of the NYMEX decreased $0.26 at $76.17 bbl. the December Brent/WTI spread narrowed to $9.35 bbl favoring Brent.
Prompt natural gas futures were down 4.6 cents at $3.166 mmBtu. November NYMEX RBOB futures closed at $1.8223 gal, down 1.45 cpg.
November gasoline differentials were steady to lower versus Tuesday’s level.
A 4 CBOB 87 regular was steady at 6.00 cpg under the screen.
CBOB 87 was unchanged at 6.00 cpg under the screen.
D4 CBOB 93 premium was lower at 8.50 cpg over the screen.
CBOB 93 was down at 8.50 over the screen.
RBOB was lower at 5.00 cpg under the screen.
The 3-2-1 crack spread in the Gulf Coast was $10.07 bbl, $5.81 /bbl under the screen. – John Troland
