NYMEX Friday Wrap: Oil rises for third day, nat gas drops
HOUSTON, October 26, 2018 (PCW) — December NYMEX crude futures settled up $0.26 at $67.59/bbl. Despite three days of gains, the front month contract has lost $1.53 this week. December Brent at the close of the NYMEX increased $0.67 at $77.55 bbl. The December Brent/WTI spread widened to $9.96 bbl favoring Brent.
Prompt natural gas futures were down 1.7 cents at $3.185 mmBtu. November NYMEX RBOB futures closed at $1.8150 gal, down 0.21 cpg.
November gasoline differentials were mixed versus Thursday’s level.
A 4 CBOB 87 regular was higher at 4.90 cpg under the screen.
CBOB 87 was up at 4.90 cpg under the screen.
D4 CBOB 93 premium was lower at 7.00 cpg over the screen.
CBOB 93 was down at 7.00 over the screen.
RBOB was higher at 3.90 cpg under the screen.
The 3-2-1 crack spread in the Gulf Coast was $10.27 bbl, $5.30 /bbl under the screen. – John Troland
